Travel Directions

By Plane...

The Edinburgh airport has 40 airlines flying into it and serves 90 destinations, and several daily connecting flights from the major London airports (cheap deals from BA, BMI and Easyjet).
Once at the airport there is a very efficient bus which goes from the airport to Waverley Train Station and costs £4 single and £7 open return.

Then it's a short taxi ride or a 15 minute walk (see below for walking route instructions).

Alternatively there is a tram every 8-12 minutes, taking approximately 30mins (getting off at Princes St) and costing £5 single and £8 return. It is then a 10 min walk to the apartment

A taxi direct from the airport will cost approx £20-£25.

By Train...

You can travel directly from London, Glasgow, and many other cities (www.nationalrail.co.uk). Once at Waverley train station a taxi to the apartment will cost about £5.00  - £6.00, however walking will only take approximately 15 minutes.

If walking you come out of Waverley Station onto North Bridge and turn right and head to Princes St (50 metres). Turn left and walk along Princes St until you reach Hanover St on the right. Head up Hanover Street crossing over George St and Queen St. Go straight over Queen St and continue down Dundas St.

For Cumberland Lane Apartment turn into Cumberland St (4th street on the left) North West Cumberland St Lane is then the 1st on the right and the apartment is at the far end of the lane on the left hand side.
